Over 500,000 people in our regional area depend on The Arts Federation to provide arts programs and services to their communities, including the 300+ kids that participate in the After School Arts Program each year. Through its nationally-recognized education and community development programming, TAF has emerged as one of the most highly regarded arts organizations in the State of Indiana. TAF has not been able to do this important work without investment from community members like you!

Aligning with National Hobby Month, June IND’s #philanthrocky beneficiary for January 2022 is The Arts Federation (TAF, formerly known as the Tippecanoe Arts Federation) in support of its After School Arts Program (ASAP).

ASAP offers free arts classes to students in grades K-12. Covering the full spectrum of creative disciplines, ASAP aims to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth in our community, reinforce academics, improve self-esteem and inspire creativity. Two shots of optimism are most welcome today, especially from Lafayette, Indiana rock duo June IND. The band consisting of decades-long friends and collaborators Chris June and Emily Larimer recently released “First Annual Meeting of Optimists Vols. 1 and 2,” two EPs recorded at a time when you could do that without trepidation, and single “Come to Hand” in times of concern. Under the guidance of Dan Precision (Rise Against, 88 Fingers Louie, The Mound Builders) at The Bomb Shelter Recording Studio in Chicago, June IND’s anthemic tunes explode with captivating hooks and tightly harmonized vocals. About #philanthrocky music for a cause

Rock duo June IND launched the #philanthrocky music for a cause initiative in August 2020 to support Greater Lafayette, Indiana area organizations and make their music work for the community. Each month through July 2022, all revenue from June IND’s music streams and sales will be given to a Greater Lafayette area organization addressing issues related to arts access, diversity, education, the environment, equality, homelessness, human rights, hunger or social justice. It’s Bandcamp Friday! Grab or gift music from June IND, support TAF’s After School Arts Program for National Hobby Month

On the first Friday of every month from March 2020 through December 2021, Bandcamp waived revenue share to support artists. June IND passed the value on to Greater Lafayette area organizations addressing issues related to arts access, diversity, education, the environment, equality, homelessness, human rights, hunger and social justice. Bandcamp Fridays may be over, but June IND will continue these efforts through July 2022.

For Jan. 7, 2022, June IND’s Bandcamp Friday sales will support the Tippecanoe Arts Federation’s After School Arts Program (ASAP) for National Hobby Month. Grab or gift June IND’s music today to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth in our community, reinforce academics, improve self-esteem and inspire creativity.

Each month through July 2022, Lafayette, Indiana rock band June IND is donating music sales and streams through its #philanthrocky music for a cause initiative to a Greater Lafayette area organization addressing issues related to arts access, diversity, education, the environment, equality, homelessness, human rights, hunger or social justice. Beneficiaries will be identified by causes linked to various awareness months throughout the year.
