June IND to donate January sales and streams to TAF’s After School Arts Program for National Hobby Month

Each month through July 2022, Lafayette, Indiana rock band June IND is donating music sales and streams through its #philanthrocky music for a cause initiative to a Greater Lafayette area organization addressing issues related to arts access, diversity, education, the environment, equality, homelessness, human rights, hunger or social justice. Beneficiaries will be identified by causes linked to various awareness months throughout the year.

Aligning with National Hobby Month, the #philanthrocky beneficiary for January 2022 is the Tippecanoe Arts Federation’s After School Arts Program (ASAP). Friends and Optimists, Hipbillies and anonymous: a #philanthrocky milestone

A cool thing happened last night and we wanted to say thanks. Our *gestures to everyone* #philanthrocky music for a cause initiative exceeded $2k in donations ($2,111 actually).

In addition to advocating for some Greater Lafayette area organizations, we’ve been donating music sales and streams (along with the contents of our tip jar) to them each month since August 2020. We’re going to guess some direct donations have happened too and that’s great! These causes are important to us and we’re glad that they matter to you too.

Good vibes, stay safe and thanks for making our music work for the community.

-Chris and Emily
