June IND’s First Annual Meeting of Optimists People’s Pre-Launch Party

Join local rockers June IND Tuesday, October 16, 6:00 p.m. at People’s Brewing Company (2006 N 9thStreet, Lafayette, IN 47904) for brews, tunes, and a preview of the band’s new multimedia music and art project, First Annual Meeting of Optimists.

Schedule:

  • 6:00 p.m. – Brews & tunes: Performance of acoustic originals and fun covers
  • 7:00 p.m. – Brews & tunes: Preview performance of 13 new tracks from First Annual Meeting of Optimists project
  • 8:00 p.m. – Brews & First Annual Meeting of Optimists project discussion

A percentage of People’s Brewing sales will be used to launch the project.

This event is free and open to the public. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age.

For the uninitiated, June IND’s music has been described as “Original and heavy with plenty of hooks and harmonies and clever covers sprinkled through out.” As a bonus, kazoos are provided at unplugged shows and audience participation is encouraged.
